1. Who we are

VizyReport ("we", "us", "our") operates the website at vizyreport.com. We provide AI visibility audit reports for local businesses and e-commerce stores. You can reach us at admin@vizyreport.com.

2. What information we collect

We collect only what's needed to provide your report:

• Account information — your email address, name, and password (stored as a one-way hash), or your Google account details if you sign in with Google.
• Business information — business name, website URL, city, state, category, and marketplace details that you provide during onboarding.
• Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage data — pages visited, report views, and support interactions, used to improve the service.
• Session data — a session cookie to keep you logged in across visits.

3. How we use your information

Your information is used exclusively to operate VizyReport:

• To generate your AI visibility reports by querying public AI engines (ChatGPT, Gemini) with your business details.
• To send your report results and account-related emails (verification, billing receipts, support replies).
• To process payments via Stripe.
• To respond to support requests you submit.
• To improve our report accuracy and service quality over time.

4. We do not sell your data

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information or business data with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Your business details are used only to generate your report and are never shared with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of trusted third parties to operate the service:

• Stripe — payment processing. Governed by Stripe's privacy policy.
• Google — optional sign-in via Google OAuth. Governed by Google's privacy policy.
• OpenAI / Anthropic / Google AI — your business name, category, and location are sent to these APIs as part of generating queries to assess your AI visibility. No other personal information is sent.
• Gmail SMTP — used to send transactional emails from edward@vizyreport.com.

6. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. This cookie is:

• Set only when you sign in
• Stored in your browser for up to 30 days
• Never used for advertising or tracking across other websites
• Deleted when you log out

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking scripts.

7. Data retention

We retain your account and report data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and request deletion, we will remove your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or billing purposes (e.g., payment records).

8. Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your report data

9. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Your data is stored on a private server with no public database access. Session tokens are stored server-side in a PostgreSQL database, not in localStorage or plain cookies.

10. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
